Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — we're warmly welcoming new patients of all ages, including families, children and CDCP patients. New patients who complete an exam, x-rays and cleaning even receive a free electric toothbrush. You can book online or call (613) 491-3300.
Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?
We do. Same-day emergency dental treatment is available for both new and existing patients. Call us at (613) 491-3300 as early in the day as you can. For after-hours emergencies, the Ottawa Dental Society Emergency Service can be reached at 613-523-4185.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We work with all dental insurance plans and offer direct billing (assignment of benefits) whenever your plan allows it — you only pay your co-portion at the appointment. We also accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Learn more on our Insurance & CDCP page.
I'm anxious about the dentist. Can you help?
Absolutely — this is one of the things we're known for. We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral moderate sedation, and Dr. Grewal holds a moderate sedation certificate. We even offer a short nitrous trial so you can see how it feels before treatment. Read about sedation dentistry.
When should my child first see a dentist?
The Canadian Dental Association recommends a first assessment within six months of the first tooth appearing, or by age one. Our on-staff pediatric specialist, Dr. Julie Maniate, makes first visits gentle and fun. See children's dentistry.
